From a continental perspective, importers in European countries bought almost three-fifths (57.9%) of spending on imported pumpkins during 2022 with purchases costing $989.4 million. In second place were North American importers at 31.9% while 9.5% of pumpkins imported worldwide was delivered to customers in Asia.
Smaller percentages arrived in Africa (0.2%), Latin America (0.4%) excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean, and Oceania (0.1%) led by New Zealand.
