Imports into the United States from Russia equaled 0.1% of overall US imports from around the world in 2024, down from 0.2% in 2023.
Fastest-growing US imports from Russia from 2023 to 2024 were shaped wood (up 3,910%), scents used for beverage or industrial manufacturing (up 2,735%), coins (up 2,523%), zoological, botanic or historic collectibles (up 690.1%), live animals excluding horses and cows (up 502.1%), then bombs, grenades and ammunition (up 261.7%).

The heaviest declines among America’s sales of exported goods to Russia were recorded for shrinking Russian spending on cases, handbags and wallets (down -93.4% from 2023), organic surface-active products including soaps (down -77.4%), spraying or dispersing mechanical appliances (down -76%), oral and dental hygiene preparations (down -73.6%), phone devices including smartphones (down -71.6%) then unrecorded sound media (down -70.5%).
